Gopher Catholic is the Catholic student organization at the University of Minnesota. Gopher Catholic, in partnership with Saint Paul's Outreach (SPO), the Brotherhood of Hope, and the Handmaids of the Heart of Jesus, fight together on the battleground of College campuses. Almost 80% of those who leave the Catholic faith do so by the age of 23. SPO trains young adults who have just graduated college to become full-time missionaries. They focus on building communities that reach out and invite college students into a transformative encounter with Christ, into deep relationship with him and with his people, and into a lifelong adventure of mission.
