Who We Are
We are a biblically focused faith formation group for all women of the parish.
This spring, we did a Eucharist centered Bible study called “Dwell” from Blessed Is She. See below for more details.

To build a community of women at the Newman Center that gathers together to listen, learn and share with other faith-filled women.

This program includes daily readings and personal reflection in addition to the weekly meeting to learn and grow from each other. We ask that you register so we can assign small groups.

No. The existing women's group is also a vibrant community at the Newman Center. Women Growing in Faith is being offered as a Biblically-focused faith formation group.

Details and Resources
The Women Growing in Faith has a 7-week scripture study each fall and spring.
This past spring session, we used “Dwell” a Bible study centered on the Eucharist from Blessed Is She. The Dwell BC Study explores five different aspects of how Jesus changes our lives when we give Him space to love us.
An example of what the session overview would look like:
Where: Gathering Space of St. Lawrence Newman Center
When: 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday for roughly 7 consecutive weeks
Materials: A study from the Blessed is She or Walking with Purpose programs
