Oktoberfest
Join us Saturday, October 4th, from 1-5 PM at St. Lawrence Newman Center for our first annual Oktoberfest! Enjoy delicious food, refreshing drinks, lively music, and plenty of cheer as we come together to celebrate community and build new connections. All are welcome to this free event. Bring your friends!

Builder's
Builders is for men who are grad students, young adults, and parishioners to build a spiritual fraternity in the parish that supports and encourages men to “Stand in the Breach” as fathers to our families, brothers to one another, and as sons of our Father.

Thirsting for Prayer Series
Learn how to deal with obstacles and struggles in prayer as well as how to have a fruitful and joyful prayer life.

Friday Teaching Series
These FREE events are open to undergrads, grad students, young adults, and parishioners.

Women Growing in Faith: Fall Session
Passionate Discipleship is a Bible study focused on equipping women to know Christ and to make Him known. Study 2 Timothy verse by verse as we immerse ourselves in Paul’s last and deeply personal letter to his beloved friend and mentee, Timothy.

Survey Sunday
Survey Sunday will take place Sunday, September 7th, after each Mass. We strongly advise everyone to complete the form in order to update their information, even if they are already registered.

Adoration
Beginning Tuesday, September 2nd, adoration will return following daily 12:15 p.m. Mass, Monday - Friday throughout the academic year.

Building Hours
Beginning Tuesday, September 2nd, our fall semester building hours will be Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Labor Day
Mass and Confession will be held at 9 a.m. on Monday, September 1st, in observance of Labor Day. Following that, the building will be closed for the rest of the day.

Semester Mass Times
Beginning Sunday, September 7th, we will return to our in-semester Sunday Mass times of 8 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 7:30 p.m.

Meet our new Woman’s Campus Minister
Join us in welcoming Margaret Utecht to Gopher Catholic. Margaret will be serving as the Woman’s Campus Minister and is excited to be a part of campus ministry.

Fourth of July Hours
Mass will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, July 4th. We will be CLOSED for the remainder of the day in honor of Independence Day.

With a deep love for liturgical music and a passion for building vibrant worship experiences, Nick brings both talent and heart to our community. Whether leading us in song at Mass or collaborating with our musicians, Nick is committed to fostering a prayerful and welcoming environment through music. Silent auction of art and art-related items, art of many mediums for sale from local artists of all ages, refreshments, and live music.

Eucharistic Encounter Night
Join us on Sunday, March 30th for Eucharistic Encounter Night, after the 7 p.m. Mass.
We’ll have an opportunity to pray in front of the Blessed Sacrament, have praise and worship, and be prayed over.
Stations of the Cross
Stations of the Cross will take place every Friday in Lent at 11:40 a.m.
in the church. Stations will NOT occur on Friday, March 14th due to spring break. On Good Friday, April 18th, stations will be held at Northrop Plaza on campus.

Holy Week Penance Service
A number of priests will be available to hear confessions.

Mass at 12:00 p.m. on March 22nd, NO Confession
On Saturday, March 22nd, Mass will be moved to 12:00 p.m. due to the Parish Retreat. There will be NO Confession following Mass.

Parish Retreat: “Father’s Delight”
Join us for our Spring Retreat, where we will explore the Father's Delight in us. We will discuss prayer and our relationship with the Father.

Easter Memorial Flowers
Purchase Easter memorial flowers in honor or in memory of loved ones. The suggested donation is $15. Names of those honored will appear in the bulletin the Friday after Easter. Complete the form below or in the Gathering Space and turn it in to the parish office.

Ash Wednesday Masses
On Wednesday, March 5th, our Ash Wednesday Masses will be at 12:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. at the Newman Center and at 7:15 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Campus at Coffman Union, Mississippi Room (3rd-321).

Building Closed: MLK Day
The building will be closed and there will be NO Mass on Monday, January 20th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.


Non-Semester Sunday Mass Times
The Non-Semester Sunday Mass Times begin Sunday, December 22 - January 19 at 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Christmas Memorial Flowers
We would like to give the community of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and Newman Center the opportunity to purchase Christmas flowers in honor or in memory of loved ones. The suggested donation is $15.
Advent Penance Service
This week we are having an Advent Penance Service led by Fr. Jake. Multiple priests will be available for confession.

Solemnity of The Immaculate Conception
The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception has been transferred to Monday, December 9th. It will NOT be a holy day of obligation this year, so we will only have Mass at 12:15 p.m. this day.

Adult Bible Study
Each Sunday, everyone who is a grad student, young adult, and parishioner is invited to a bible study from 9:15 - 10:15 a.m. in the upper level of the Newman Center led by Dr. Robert Brenneman.
