Who We Are
We are a biblically focused faith formation group for all women of the parish.
This summer, we are doing a monthly meeting starting in May and ending in August. The theme will be “Praying with the Scriptures.”

To build a community of women at the Newman Center that gathers together to listen, learn and share with other faith-filled women.

This program includes daily readings and personal reflection in addition to the weekly meeting to learn and grow from each other. We ask that you register so we can assign small groups.

No. The existing women's group is also a vibrant community at the Newman Center. Women Growing in Faith is being offered as a Biblically-focused faith formation group.

Details and Resources
Women Growing in Faith at St. Lawrence will be hosting monthly Bible study events this summer, focusing on the “Praying with Scripture” series from the Archdiocese. Drop in for any one or all of the series. No materials or preparation required for the monthly session.
Where: Gathering Space of St. Lawrence Newman Center
When: 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month from May through August (May 13, June 10, July 8, and August 12)
Who: All women interested in growing in their faith are welcome. It's not required to be a member of St. Lawrence to participate!
Materials: No materials are needed for this summer session
Past Studies
The Women Growing in Faith has a 7-week scripture study each fall and spring.
Each semester, Women Growing in Faith focuses on a study found from the Blessed is She or Walking with Purpose programs.
