2026 Alaska Mission Trip

Gopher Catholic will spend its spring break in 2026 on our annual mission trip to the poor and underserved in Anchorage, Alaska! There’s no better way to have a fulfilling spring break than to serve those in need alongside other Catholics.

We will collaborate with Alaska’s Catholic Social Services to serve those in need through homeless shelters, soup kitchens, and other relief programs.  We will also have plenty of time for rest, fellowship, and enjoying the beauty of Alaska! 

BASIC DETAILS:

Applications Due: Monday, November 3rd, end of day (to allow for acceptances to be given by November 21st) 

Dates: March 7 - 14, 2026

Cost: $1,775* (includes: flights, housing, rental cars, most meals, etc.)

Fundraising: Fundraising training and material will be provided

Deposit: $180 to secure your place if you are accepted. The $180 counts towards the trip, but will not be refunded if you do not attend

*We hope to reduce the cost slightly through general fundraising done by the Newman Center. This is the highest price it will be.
