Alaska Mission Trip
Gopher Catholic will spend its spring break in 2026 on our annual mission trip to the poor and underserved in Anchorage, Alaska! There’s no better way to have a fulfilling spring break than to serve those in need alongside other Catholics.

Women’s Fall Retreat
This will be located at Camp Victory! More details to come later, start and end times are also TBD.

True North Manventure Weekend

Builder's
Builders is for men who are grad students, young adults, and parishioners to build a spiritual fraternity in the parish that supports and encourages men to “Stand in the Breach” as fathers to our families, brothers to one another, and as sons of our Father.

Oktoberfest
Join us Saturday, October 4th, from 1-5 PM at St. Lawrence Newman Center for our first annual Oktoberfest! Enjoy delicious food, refreshing drinks, lively music, and plenty of cheer as we come together to celebrate community and build new connections. All are welcome to this free event. Bring your friends!

Women's Group Investment Night
Investment night will include an intro talk on our content for the semester - The Feminine Genius, we'll announce official small groups, have a time of worship, and celebrate together.

Women Growing in Faith: Fall Session
Passionate Discipleship is a Bible study focused on equipping women to know Christ and to make Him known. Study 2 Timothy verse by verse as we immerse ourselves in Paul’s last and deeply personal letter to his beloved friend and mentee, Timothy.

Free Lunch Friday
Free lunch…nuff said!! (and join us for the Friday Student Mass at 12:15pm)

Survey Sunday
Survey Sunday will take place Sunday, September 7th, after each Mass. We strongly advise everyone to complete the form in order to update their information, even if they are already registered.
Men's Group Kickoff
We are kicking off Men's group with a hog roast! Come by for some delicious food, to meet some awesome guys, and to learn what men's group is all about!

Women's Group Kickoff
Hoping to meet awesome women and explore campus? Meet at the mall on campus at 7 p.m. for a fun night meeting new friends.


Adoration
Beginning Tuesday, September 2nd, adoration will return following daily 12:15 p.m. Mass, Monday - Friday throughout the academic year.
Labor Day BBQ
Food. Friends. Games. What more could you want?! Come join us and have a blast before classes begin down at the East River Flats.

Building Hours
Beginning Tuesday, September 2nd, our fall semester building hours will be Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Labor Day
Mass and Confession will be held at 9 a.m. on Monday, September 1st, in observance of Labor Day. Following that, the building will be closed for the rest of the day.

Freshmen Dinner and Mass
Meet outside the Mississippi Room (Coffman Union, 3rd floor) at 5:15pm, Sunday, August 31, and we'll walk over to the Newman Center Social Hall for dinner, prayer, and time to get to know one another, immediately followed by Sunday Mass at the church!

Semester Mass Times
Beginning Sunday, September 7th, we will return to our in-semester Sunday Mass times of 8 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 7:30 p.m.


Tailgate
Join us at 1000 5th Street for our first tailgate of the year! It’ll be a fun time to meet the community and enjoy some activities before the game! See you there!

Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary
This is a Holy Day of Obligation - Mass Times will be:
Thursday, August 14th at 7:30 p.m. (Vigil) and Friday, August 15th at 12:15 p.m.

Women Growing in Faith: Summer Session
Women Growing in Faith at St. Lawrence will be hosting monthly Bible study events this summer, focusing on the “Praying with Scripture” series from the Archdiocese. No materials or preparation required for the monthly session.

Student Summer Bible Study

Fourth of July Hours
Mass will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, July 4th. We will be CLOSED for the remainder of the day in honor of Independence Day.

Building Hour Changes
Happy Summer! We have a few changes to our operating hours in the months of May and June.

Summer Building Hours and Non-Semester Mass Times
Beginning, Monday, May 12th, the summer building hours will be Monday - Thursday, 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
The Non-Semester Sunday Mass times will begin Sunday, May 18th at 9 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Note the evening Mass time change.

Silent auction of art and art-related items, art of many mediums for sale from local artists of all ages, refreshments, and live music.

UNITE
Senior sharing, last UNITE of the semester.
This is our bi-weekly gathering for undergrads! We will meet in the Social Hall of the St. Lawrence Newman Center at 7:30 p.m.

Grad Mass and Luncheon
Followed by a luncheon for seniors and their families. The 2025 Class Gift will be presented.
